Johan AlfsenDirector of TrainingJohan Alfsen has been in the solar industry since 2004 when he became an installer in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his roles as speaker, trainer, and author of various articles on roof penetrations and code compliance for residential solar installations, Johan has become known industry wide for his passionate advocacy of solar roofing best practices. He sits on the Board of Directors for Roof Integrated Solar Energy (RISE) as well as the Resource Guide Committee for the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Johan holds a degree in Environmental Sustainability and Social Justice. When he’s not out spreading Quick Mount’s “Respect the Roof” philosophy, Johan can often be found playing music in the Bay Area rock band Wave Array.

Jeff SpiesBusiness Developement ManagerJeff Spies has been on the forefront of solar training since his entry into the PV industry in 2007. Thousands of contractors and installers have attended his popular online trainings and live training events and he is a regular speaker at major industry tradeshows and conferences including Solar Power International, Intersolar, and the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and has worked in sales, marketing, and technical training in the industrial automation field prior to moving into solar in 2006. Jeff also serves as Secretary for North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). When he finds some spare time, Jeff loves to garden and hike in the desert near his Arizona home.

Jennifer AlfsenMechanical Engineer/Technical TrainerJennifer Alfsen joined Quick Mount PV in 2011 after several years experience in process engineering in the defense industry. She is a key addition to the Quick Mount PV team, strengthening both the engineering and training departments. Jennifer graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Jacobs School of Engineering at University of California, San Diego. She enjoys backpacking, running half marathons, and international travel.

Marshall GreenTechnical TrainerMarshall Green has been in the construction industry since 1985. With skills in carpentry, precise metal work and union ironwork, Marshall became a general contractor in 1988. Since 1999, he has been managing all types of construction in the demanding environment of New York City. He has built everything from foundation to roofing, framing to finish. In his role with Quick Mount PV, Marshall is based in New York and provides tech support and training to East Coast distributors and installers. Whenever possible, Marshall enjoys time with his daughters, whether they're picking wild blueberries or getting help from dad with their homework.
